Alex Terauds is an Acquisitions Principal at CF Capital, where he focuses on sourcing and executing multifamily acquisitions. He brings experience across more than $6 billion in transactions and has helped real estate investment and management firms navigate critical inflection points and advance into their next stage of growth.
Early in his career, Alex quickly advanced into leadership at a large multifamily owner/operator, where he built an investment team and helped reshape portfolio strategy by increasing transactional focus and reducing property count. He also launched and led a B-Piece investment strategy, expanding capital deployment without adding operating complexity. More recently, Alex helped transform an entrepreneurial scattered-site owner/operator into a professional private equity platform through targeted growth and institutional investment practices.
Alex also has an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to serve. He co-founded a modular vacation home design and build business during a non-compete period and is the Co-Founder and Principal of Two Kingdom Capital, a multifamily investment company focused on investing locally with an emphasis on resident engagement and ministry. He also serves on the board of the parent service organization at his son’s school.
Alex is a lifelong Cincinnati native and lives with his wife Stephanie, their son Gunnar, and their daughter Marilyn. He enjoys family time, soccer, and skiing.
